Who We Are
Kamamak is the Cree word for butterfly. And like the butterfly, everything we do is rooted in transformation.
We are an Indigenous-led family wellness organization based in Flin Flon, Manitoba — serving communities, organizations, and schools across Turtle Island. Founded by Métis educator and advocate Marian Paul, Kamamak brings over 38 years of lived and professional experience into every room.
We believe every child begins in connection. We believe behaviour is communication. And we believe that when parents, caregivers, and frontline workers understand themselves, everything changes for the children in their care.
We are a Certified Indigenous Business. We are not a corporate training company. We are community people doing community work — with an Indigenous heart.
